Diana Hope Wilder daughter of Virginia and Jack Hankin passed away at her home in Portland Oregon, June 13th from complications due to a stroke at 81 years old. She is survived by her husband Roger Wilder, Diana is a mother of six children. Larry Conklin of Aberdeen Washington, Linda Conklin who proceeded her in death, Lindsay Conklin of Salem Oregon, Ginny Carlson of St Helens Oregon, Joe Carlson of Spokane Washington, and Andy Carlson of Gresham. Diana Hope Wilder daughter of Virginia and Jack Hankin passed away at her home in Portland Oregon, June 13th from complications due to a stroke at 81 years old. She is survived by her husband Roger Wilder, Diana is a mother of six children. Larry Conklin of Aberdeen Washington, Linda Conklin who proceeded her in death, Lindsay Conklin of Salem Oregon, Ginny Carlson of St Helens Oregon, Joe Carlson of Spokane Washington, and Andy Carlson of Gresham. She enjoyed being wife, homemaker, mother of 6 and a grandmother of 10, great grandmother of 11. Diana is a native Oregonian and comes from a large family and spent much of her life living near the Columbia River. She was an awesome cook, avid gardener, artist, expert storyteller and made her home the Columbia Gorge. She had an infectious laugh and capacity for bringing out the best in others. Diana didn't know how to quit, her persevering pioneer spirit will live on in her children.



Service to be held at Little Chapel of the Chimes Gateway August 11th, at 1:00pm with graveside at Lincoln Memorial to follow (3:00 pm). After the memorial services family and friends are invited back to her home for a reception and sharing. Viewing in the evening June 10th from 4 - 8 PM
